Welcome to the Silver Arrow Bowmen of Mount Vernon, Washington.
We are a Non profit club that supports all styles of archery. Our club has traditional and compound shooters from beginners to professional, sponsored shooters.
Our club meetings are on the 1st Monday of each month except September, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse. If you are interested in membership, stop by one of the meetings, and check us out!
Our flat range is open to the public and features staggered targets from 10-50 yards. There is a second flat range behind the clubhouse that is marked to 60 yards. Come check out our new RANGE LIGHTS. You can now shoot after dark on the flat range. Bring your quarters, it's coin-operated.
The walk though course, also open to the public, features more than 30 compressed straw bale targets with large plywood backstops varying in distances and angles. There are some uphill and downhill targets and paths so bring a good set of boots.
Shooting fees for non members are $2 a day.
We have an indoor range with 25 shooting lanes and marked distances out to 60 feet. Range is open to members with keys, members on open shoot nights and non-members during special events.
We host 4-H archery on Tuesday evenings.
Hours of Operation
With range lights and self-service payment, the flat range is open 24 hours a day.
The walk-through course, also self-payment is only restricted by daylight hours and special events. It's best to check our calendar before heading out as there may be a 3-D shoot or Bowhunter Ed class that has the range closed to non-participants. Otherwise, it gets quite dark in the woods as dusk approaches, so it's best to time your walk-through so that you are out of the woods by sunset.
Bowhunter education courses are based on the International Bowhunter Education Foundation curriculum. Topics include equipment, anatomy, tracking, safety, regulations and other subjects of particular value to bowhunters. The course is designed to benefit both new and experienced bowhunters.
The next 2013 class will be June 24 (M), 27 (Th), 28(F) from 6-9 pm and Saturday, June 25 from 8-2:00. Traditional students attend all sessions, online students attent only the field course on Saturday.
We are a chartered club of the
